A native Spanish speaker, Catherine Rivera Cameron, president and founder of LKR Communication and Translations, LLC. has overcome adversity and still has succeeded in her lifetime.
Catherine has been a JAFRA COSMETICS skin care consultant for 24 years and currently serves her clients with their cosmetic needs. She is retired from the League of Southeastern Credit Unions where she served as a bi-lingual Receptionist and Operations Assistant for 18 years.
Prior to coming to the League, Catherine had retired after twenty five years of service from the IBM Corporation at the Tallahassee Branch Office and the Puerto Rico branch as a bi-lingual Administrator. While at the IBM Corporation, Cathy attended various seminars in Time Management, Payroll-Personnel and other Leadership training. She was selected as the Administrator of the Year for Excellence in 1988. Cathy is also a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Course in Effective Speaking and Human Relations.
Catherine is a member of the Tallahassee Writers Association, American Translators Association and the Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce. She is also Past President for the Tallahassee Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals and currently serves on the Board of the Friends of the Library in Wakulla County. She is also a past OST Program Advisory Board Member of the Tallahassee Community College. In addition she serves on the board of SULLIVAN & COGLIANO Training Centers, Miami campus.
Cathy worked on her AA degree at Baruch School of Business at New York City College and Tallahassee Community College.
Her hobbies include cooking, reading, traveling and listening to jazz in addition to spending quality time with her family.
